Hey,

All you need to do to get mandrake's Licq working is at root, type :dbupdate

 

then type : licq       to start the program.

Mandrake 5.2 ships with KDE 1.0.  Unless you download the 1.1 RPMs or
source, the only way to get the latest KDE is by getting Mandrake 5.3.
