I have installed Mandrake 5.3 on a system and I couldn't get the
soundcard that was in it when I installed configured to work. I have
installed another sound card, but now when I run sndconfig it just hangs
at the point where it tries to detect any pnp cards. Could anyone give
me any pointers on this? I know this card will work in Mandrake 5.3
because I had it installed in another PC and configured it to a tee.
Please help if possible. I know I am probably just missing something
simple, but I am a newbie.
