Through a careless mistake, I restored an old rc.local from a Redhat v5.1 archive over my default Mandrake 5.3 installed /etc/rc.d/rc.local file. Although I had did some editing to the Mnadrake default rc.local file and can recover and re-edit that portion, I was wondering if anyone here whew if it's possible to retrieve the default rc.local file from the Mandrake CD without doing a complete re-install of the Operating System.
