Issue an ls -al /sbin/shutdown command and the attributes should look like
this:
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 12932 Aug 23 1998 /sbin/shutdown
Under Linuxconf/User Accounts I have the following:
Base Info: user 'sdozier' group 'root'
Priviledges: May Use Linuxconf
May Shutdown
May View system logs
Superuser Equivalence
"All Granted"
