[newbie] MANDRAKE and VB

Hi       all,
    I'm a VB programmer and I would try to make something with Linux, but I
see Microsoft doesn't works on Linux, so 
 I lookin' for something wich allow me to wirte VB programs.
   I think I find a VB DLL but it was a japanese site so I can understand
what I've to do.
   Could someone tell me something about VB programming and MANDRAKE?
