It took a bit of doing to get this modem to work in Linux - here's the
solution:
You first have to boot to DOS. The modem should come with a driver disk
for DOS and Windows - install the DOS driver, and put the command with
the correct arguments (e.g. setcoming 2f8 3 for com2). You then must use
LoadLin or equivalent to boot linux. If you've used loadlin, this is
simple -
just copy your kernel, give loadlin the proper arguments, and it should
boot.
