Let's see: I need help with two things. First, I can't hear my modem on
dial-up although it --a US Robotics internal fax modem-has always been
lustily loud before.
How do I make it make noise? This leads to my next question:
I can't get kppp to work. It connects but then I am rejected for an
invalid login. I have set up PAP and all that correctly. What to do?
Nevertheless, I am on-line with Netscape and Venus. I used one of the
old ppp-on scripts. But I can't hear anything and must use logs.
