My problem is that I cant get a resolution of 640x480 (for use with TV &
voodoo card)
I have iiyama VMP 400 monitor 17ins
8MB Matrox Produtiva (SVGA server in Xfree86)
I can get 24bpp 1600x1200, and everything lower, EXCEPT 640x480!!
My system always resorts to using 800x600....even if I don't configure it
in xf86config but configure 1600x1200, 1024x768 etc, AND edit XF86config
to remove all accounts of 800 x600 (includeing the 'virtual' res. )
ctrl alt +/- can't even catch 640x480 ...my iiyama montior has an OSD
which tells me my current video mode, and it's never displayed 640x480.
My monitor will do 640x480 in win95 and with redhat 5.1 Xfree86 3.3.2
(??3.3.1???)
Does anyone know if this is a problem/feature with my monitor or my
config??
