Have you ran lilo after modifying lilo.conf?
did you install the initscripts also?

How do I ran lilo after modifying lilo.conf? just type "lilo"?.
And in the updates directory I think that the initsripts are version 26, not
27 as all the other updates.... It doesn't matter?
