Hello,
I am able to get system sounds to work for the initial user
created during the install procedure....So I know my sound
card works and that the sound configuration was successful.
But when creating subsequent users, the system sounds do
not work. When I enter the command 'kaudioserver' at the
command line, I get 'maudio:can't access audio device.'
I'm guessing it has to do with permissions, but I don't know
which and for what.
Also, I can mount cd's ok under kde however when I try to play
audio cd's I get an error stating that I have to specify the filesystem.
When looking in /etc/fstab the filesystem setting is set to 'auto.' is
there something I have to specify in addition to that?
