Hi,
I am able to make the ppp connection as root or as a user, but I am
unable to _shutdown_ the ppp connection from either one. Both the command-line
or using linuxconf gives the same results, neither will shudown the connection.
Kppp on the other hand works just fine. I noticed that the ppp0.pid is being
written to /etc/ppp not /var/run/. Is it possible the shutdown script is
looking for the ppp0.pid file in the /var/run subdirectory? How do I fix this?
I just did a full install of LM 6.0 from Redhat 5.1.
