because of your own point of view distros depend...
and different points of view have us all!

Now seriously, If i have learned something about linux, is that there are more
than 52 ways to skin a cat (or to install an app!), and different things work
best for different people.
So go ahead, try several distros (there are packages with 4-5 distros for 50US
bucks, i believe)... Find out which one is the best _for_you_...
...then get into that distro's mailing lists and you'll be set!
