[newbie] mounting a floppy??

I downloaded some utilities on my win98 machine, and want to transfer them over to my linux machine, but when I put the disk in the drive and click on the icon, it says:   could not mount error log:   mount you must specify the filesystem type   Can anyone help me with this??     Thanks in advance!     Nighthawk
