Go to the web site of your monitors manufacturer, there you should
find out the specs of your monitor. If you can't find it there, phone
up a help number which usually comes with your system. Ask
them for the:
Horiz. Frequency 30Khz - 50 Khz
Vert. Frequency 50 Hz - 90 Hz
Horiz. Addressability 1024 Pels (Max)
Vert. Addressability 768 Lines (Max)
Of your Monitor. The numbers displayed above are my monitor
specs. They are only an example. (DO NOT USE THESE SPECS
ON YOUR MONITOR) each monitor is different. Once you have
them go back to linux and configure them. Im not sure what
command to type to find monitor configurations. But im sure the
books that came with mandrake should help you..
