Troops,
I'm using a cheap bytes Mandrake 6.0 with a sb awe 64 sound card.
Like many of us I had to fiddle with it to get the sound card to work. This is
a strange problem as earlier versions picked up and configured the sound card
with no problem
Well I've got it working great with kde but I get nothing if I switch to
gnome. If fact if I try to get my sounds (background sounds) working with
gnome it will knock out my sound card. Has anyone else had this problem? Is
there a solution?
