I just confirmed that LM 6.0 recognizes 128M out of the box, as a single 128M stick
and also another rig with 2 64M sticks...
I would suggest checking your BIOS.... Also make sure the memory is seated well in
the sockets. Wouldn't be the first time I have seen Windows and BIOS recognize
something that fails the linux tests.
I have had exactly that problem, a 64M machine running Windows with 64M and going
through the BIOS tests which linux told me had 32M. One RAM SIMM in that case had to
be reseated.
