Well, the flavor of the server platform should not matter if it supports dial-in access.... The authentication procedure followed is another matter. That is part of the login which should be accomplished to establish a connection from the server. Kppp supports the frequently used protocols chat script and PAP. There is also a very high security protocol called CHAP. You will need to use the same protocol that your NT box expects. As Microsoft would say, "Contact your System Administrator". Or just try them to see which one connects. I do assume you have an account on the NT box for dialup and that you have used dialups before from another platform. If this is not true, then you will need to make sure the appropriate work is done at your NT box. http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO.html Civileme [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Hello, > > I been unsuccessful at trying to dial into my NT Server from linux. Learn what you don't. -- visit http://homepages.msn.com/invalid_url .... Is Microsoft afraid to pay itself license fees for IIS? Sure looks like an Apache (open-source) Signature to me
