I am still trying to find out how to get the printer icon on my KDE desktop to work. I know you have to drag/ drop the text icon onto the printer icon. My problem is that i can't get the lpr command which is linked to the printer icon to work on my computer. I can print by opening the klpq window and drag/drop the text icon onto the open window. This is cumbersome. My printer is a HP Officejet 500. Thanx, SA P.S.
