rpm -q samba, to see if it's installed
rpm -ihv /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS/samba-*, if it's not (or get it via ftp)
docs get located in /usr/doc/samba-%{version}
the main config file is /etc/smb.conf
and the website is located at http://www.samba.org
