Hi, I have a Billion ISDN card, Mandrake 8.2. When i press the "connect to internett" icon, it asks me for root passwd, and the network monitor comes up on my screen. It then says it is connecting to the internett, and soon gives me a message that the connection failed. But the connection works.... When i then click on the connect button it says it is connecting again, and comes with the same message (failed) And,,, yes the web browsers are not working..
How can i know for sure if my computer is connected or not? It can be rather expensive to be online all day.. Thnx. THT
