I've been running 8.2 on my company's server since it was released, and last night our server died. That's the second time it's happened since I put 8.2 on it.
Somebody rebooted the machine, but on reboot, nothing worked. No SSH access, no web server, and no mail. Trying to log in at the box resulted in something like "no /sbin/mingetty" and hitting CTRL-Alt-Del flashed "no /sbin/reboot" and something about waiting 5 minutes. Then I hit the reset button and it came up fine. I'm not really concerned about the bad reboot--I'm more concerned about how it crashed to begin with. Where can I look to get clues on what happened?
