As it happens this identical question came up on Mandrakeuser this week.

The solution in that case was simply to make sure the Hostname of the computer 
was in the correct format.

For example Ken.localdomain   or a Fully Qualified Domain Name (if you have 
one registered to you)  such as
ken.murrah.org.tv      

You can correct your Hostname using netconf  which is in the linuxconf RPM if 
it is not already installed.
