Hi, I have a simple home network made up of 3 computers. One is running ML 8.1 and is connected to the internet via DSL. It is sharing the net connection via NAT/IP masquerading and has a firewall setup using iptables. The other 2 computers are running Windows.
Suppose I wanted to run a server on one of the Win computers (behind the firewall), like Kazaa for example, how would I go about it so that the server would accept connections from the outside network. Would it be enough to just open the correct port on the gateway machine. Or are there additional steps to be taken? Any help is very much welcome. TIA, Guilherme Cirne [EMAIL PROTECTED]
