What does "maximal mount count" mean?
When I started Linux, it reported that the maximal mount count was
reach for each of my partitions and that a check was forced.
I assume this means that it feels it must check each partition
periodically. Am I right here, or is there something I should be aware
of?
Also, I have never experienced that dreaded
root-partition-is-busy-at-shutdown-and-cannot-be-unmounted bug in this
installation. I've seen it before, and I've reinstalled before to
vanquish it. Did my use of MandrakeUpdate fix that, or is it waiting
in the wings? If it's still there, waiting to pounce, how can I slay
it once and for all?
