Hi,

Just in case there is somebody out there who is also not smart enough to 
understand that cron doesn't get the environment variables from the bash: 
one must set it manually.

So the crontab now works and looks like this:

SHELL=/bin/bash
PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin
MAILTO=pm
HOME=/home/pm
DISPLAY=:0

* * * * * /bin/bash /home/pm/bin/showMe
