Final check before I go for it -

If I follow Mandrake's instructions and do

urpmi kernel-2.4.18.7mdk-1-2mdk.i586.rpm

I will upgrade the kernel?

If I do

rpm -ivh kernel-2.4.18.7mdk-1-2mdk.i586.rpm

I will install a new kernel which can be used as an alternative OS from the
menu?

Have I got it?

Anne
