Ok.... so how do you tell Grub to boot to runlevel 3 if inittab says to go to 5? With lilo, you type "linux 3" at lilo's prompt. Grub's prompt uses different commands. I've tried some (like an obvious one, "boot"), but then it says the kernel must be loaded, etc. I was wondering if there was a simpler choice like lilo has. Lee
