I found that Knoppix also does the same thing, but with a full sized distro from a full-sized CD. It is also excellent at picking up hardware and automagically setting up networks, printers, etc. If Windows pukes, or a machine is virus infected, there is no substitute for a Linux distro that will boot and run from cd-rom.
