To replace one monopoly by another isn't a solution. Best about Microsoft is perhaps, that it keeps up the dream to create a whole new OS to replace MS Windows by playing there own special role. Have you ever realized that there is a waste amount of OS out? E.g. BeOS, FreeBSD, AtheOS, to name only my favorite once.
