Hi, I'm trying to get proftpd running. I had it once in 8.1 several months ago, but now I can't seem to get it going in 8.2. I went to Control Center > Services and tried to start it. It failed and said it couldn't determine the IP of clevername. When I tried to connect I got a connection refused error.
I went to enable it in xinetd, and when I tried to connect again it returned a 421 error. There's nothing in /var/log/proftpd, as I expected--I don't think it's even running, even though Control Center says it is. Hints or ideas? Thanks, Todd
