Hi, Richard. First thing is, don't panic. We've all been there and felt utterly helpless, but this list is brilliant in helping you get going. On the bottom bar you should have an icon like a black screen with a spanner across it? Click on that to open up MCC. Assuming that you have a hardware modem, the wizard there will help you set up with little or no input. If you have a winmodem it will be a little harder, and someone else will advise you on that.
