1.) edit your /etc/ld.so.conf file and put in the following:
/usr/lib
/usr/local/lib
....then run ldconfig from a terminal window
2.) If that still doesn't get it going, try installing the rpm with the
following syntax:
rpm -ivh --force --nodeps XXXfilename.rpm
3.) Run the proggie and see what happens..."core" files are easily
deleted...(grin)
