For a setup like you have I couldn't really tell you an easy way of getting the
settings.  Possibly asking someone who has such a laptop...I've actually spent
a good while fighting with this exact laptop and sound device for some people
at work (got them working too :) but I can't remember what theirs were set at
(not that it couldn't be totally different from one system to the next).  I'd be
tempted to plug and chug (trying at random) settings until something
works.  If you don't want to try this (and no one else gives you a better
answer) let me know and I'll see if I can get ahold of a few of those laptops at
work and start cross checking sound settings, this might take me until Thursday
next week (the only day I have enough free time that I could do this) or longer.
