I have sympathy with you. I've used Mandrake over the years and generally like it because it tries to be pretty user-friendly and generally succeeds. That's the only way we're going to get all these Window$ users over to Linux. Now, I'm no coder so can't criticise, but Mandrake's network setup has always been their worst feature: using 9.0 now, I have to reconfigure every time I start the computer: settings for dialup access just don't get saved, nor do my lan settings. I just end up using wvdial forinternet access: simple and it works. Having said that, I do still think Mandrake is a great package: they all have their faults!
