   You're probly right, just now. Mandrake could get stuck with a bunch 
of unsold boxes.  IIRC, a Mandrake source said some time ago that their 
deal with the distributor/retailers netted them about 30% of the retail 
cost of the boxed set. I believe this is higher if the boxed sets are 
purchased thru the MandrakeStore, but they still lose quite a bit to 
printing, packaging, distribution, etc. expenses. I bet if you could 
get that 'Fictional Mandrake Exec' off to the side in confidence, the 
person would probly say "Yeah, I wish we didn't even have to fool 
around with gettin those damn boxes out. It's a real big drain on our 
resources and manpower, at just the worst time in our release cycle".

   For those that beg, borrow, steal, d/l, or buy cheap CD's, THEN join 
the Club, Mandrake nets 95+% of the cash.  (100% - transaction costs). 
Plus you get 'em sooner ;)
