Yeah OK, what version of Mandrake? Update or Upgrade? The reason I ask is the link below is for ftp security mirror sites for updates for all supported versions. Is there a reason you don't just use Mandrake Update tools (Software manager) in the Mandrake Control Center? As long as you are connected to the 'net it should find a list of mirrors that can choose from, just look for the applicable country code in the URL, or at least the nearest one. Any of the mirrors should work but I can sort of understand the request for a "local" one. Or if you're really stuck for whatever reason go to the Mandrake Home Page and follow the links from here: http://www.linux-mandrake.com/ to here: http://www.mandrakesecure.net/en/advisories/ shows security update information. to here: http://www.mandrakesecure.net/en/ftp.php all ftp security mirrors for all supported versions. You'll still have to know the country code to find the closest one though. If you are looking to upgrade to version 9.0 you may want to rethink it since it's somewhat problematical for some hardware configurations and isn't always a clean/easy solution. For upgrades start at the Mandrake Home page and click the Download link. You can follow it to pages that probably have what you want. Good luck.
