Aside from the games that already come installed with most distros, there is a new game out that is called "Cube" - which is a "first person shooter" game - based loosely on Doom/Quake/HL and the likes - the code runs NATIVELY on linux, and also comes with the code to run on Windows. The game can be played either single player, or network-multiplayer. It's definately cool as it's use of GL for graphics is phenomenal... It's an 8mb download in ZIP format. http://wouter.fov120.com/cube/ If you're a gamer, or a lamer, you've got to check it out. -- Tue Dec 17 04:20:00 EST 2002 4:20am up 7:21, 3 users, load average: 1.24, 1.03, 0.84 .o0 linux user:267497 0o. -------------------------------- | __ __ | khn media australia | / \ /| |'-. | http://kma.0catch.com | .\__/ || | | | | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' | stephen khn | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | |/ ._/ |"""""""""| | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | |'. `\ | | | icq: 5483808 | ;"""/ / | | | | smk ) /_/| |.-------.| | mobile: 0410-728-389 | ' `-`' " " | Berkeley, New South Wales, AU -------------------------------- Coralament*Best Grtens*Liebe Gre*Best Regards*Elkorajn Salutojn Isn't it nice that people who prefer Los Angeles to San Francisco live there? -- Herb Caen
