I use SciTE for almost everything. I haven't heard too much about it in and about, but it's been there for quite a while now and supports all the things you mentioned. Mandrake doesn't distribute the files, and I haven't found any Mandrake RPM's around, so I made my own. It looks like a simple looking gtk program, but under the hood there is fire ;-) It supports java, php, html, c, c++, python, javascrip, latex, and you name it.
