If you or those you are sponsoring are into games, you really need to
check out www.transgaming.com. This is a Wine spin-off called WineX and
it allows you to run some Windoze games right out of the box. This
software is doing alot to encourage windoze users to migrate over to
Linux. I've already converted several people with WineX alone, without
even showing them OpenOffice yet; via demonstration.

There is a comprehensive list of games that run (in order of how well
they work) under Transgaming WineX at this URL:

http://www.transgaming.com/dogamesearch.php?order=working&showall=1

Some games that I and my friends play under Transgaming WineX here:

Diablo 2

Baldur's Gate 2

Icewind Dale

WineX does not limit it's scope to games. Although they don't advertise
this, WineX can also be used for running some windoze programs, such as
CoverXP, a cd labeling software. WineX gets better with every passing
month as they continue to update and improve it, and users continue to
find uses for it that go way beyond just playing games. I have several
windoze utilities here besides CoverXP that I use WineX for.

Bottom line is that WineX is a very interesting piece of software to
experiment with, as well as use productively on a day to day basis.
