Don't know whether it will help, but I needed the fix described on Derek's page http://homepage.ntlworld.com/djennings/ It says it is to fix problems if you don't have an audio cable from your soundcard, but I had such a cable, and the fix was still needed. You can't lose, I think, so it's worth a try. Anne
