I had the same trouble with DCC.Finally I went to the #xchat channel on irc and they told me to enable "Get my IP from server" in the settings. Settings/Setup/IP Address/Get my IP from Server This solved my DCC problem and I hope it works for you.Also you will need to reconnect to the server.
