To list, Hoping
that someone can assist. I would
love to stop using Windows and start using Mandrake. I just love it but cannot get my ADSL to work and as my wife
uses the Internet a lot (and I do also) I have to keep booting into Windows to
use it and check emails. Surely
Mandrake can work with ADSL. I
have gone through all the help files and done exactly what they say, searched
for PPPOE on the Mandrake site (no hits found). It appears that I do not have PPPOE installed. How can I find whether I do and if I don’t where can I get it from. After 10 hours of trying to get my ADSL
working with Mandrake I am starting to think that it is harder than it should
be and if we want to convince other Window users of the benefits of Linux setting
up an ADSL connection should be a little easier. Any assistence to get my Australian ADSL to work would be much
appreciated and if I need PPPoe installed a location where I can download it
from. Thanks for your help From a very tired and fustrated Steve |
