Part answer part 'nother question.

Pico is the text editor that comes with pine. I recently downloaded pine
from
http://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/linux/distributions/mandrake/9.0/rpms/

When I installed pine, everything seemed to go as planned and I got no
errors. But when I try open a file, the editor opens but displays an
error message I do not understand.

pico: relocation error: pico: undefined symbol: stat

and then displays a shell prompt.

Any idea why? Ami I doing something wrong?
