My Sony MVC-FD92, while not a CD, is mounted as /dev/sda1 on /mnt/camera. this was done automagically the first time I plugged it into the USB port. There is a line in /etc/fstab that was put in automagically also:"/dev/sda1 /mnt/camera auto" Each time I plug it in it mounts automatically and I can download files. I use a memory stick normally, but it also will do this when I am using a floppy.
