kppp is in 'kdenetwork-3.0.3-15.1mdk.rpm'

so 'urpmi kdenetwork' (less quotes) as SU should tell you if it's
installed or not.

wvdial is in 'wvdial-1.42-4mdk.rpm'

so (again) 'urpmi wvdial'

Cheers
