I installed kav (Kaspersky AntiVirus) from the Mdk cds. I then tried to locate the installation. All I can find are 4 entries like this:
/oldhome/anne/.kde/share/thumbnails/13ff/b654/cf3ae85ae3e15dfe6604afcd/60/kav4.0_linuxworkstatione.pdf I presume that this is literally a thumbnail entry - it certainly doesn't open either in KGhostView or Acrobat. I have tried 'locate' with kav and with kaspersky. I simply can't find the app or the .pdf Anne
