Thanks. I'll try that today. Will I need to delete the file that/s stuck in /var/spool/samba to avoid it clogging up the system? Maybe I'll try it without deleting that, then if it doesn't work I'll delete it and try again. I'll let you know what happens, just in case it helps someone else. Anne
