The programs most likely are living in your /usr/bin directory - and though they're not setup in your menus, they are there. If you look through the /usr/bin with Konqueror, you can find them - and you can drag'n'drop them onto your desktop - or you can right-click your K icon and choose MENU EDITOR and then create a place for them. Some of these are going to be console based applications - meaning that they do not have a GUI to run them - so as long as you know that, you'll be right. -- Thu, 23 Jan 2003 06:35:00 +1100 6:35am up 6 days, 16:18, 4 users, load average: 0.23, 0.23, 0.24 ------------------------------------------------------------------ | __ __ | kuhn media australia | | / ,, /| |'-. | http://kma.0catch.com | | .\__/ || | | |=================================| | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' | stephen kuhn | | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | |/ ._/ |"""""""""| | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | |'. `\ | | | icq: 5483808 | | ;"""/ / | | | | | smk ) /_/| |.-------.| | mobile: 0410-728-389 | | ' `-`' " " | Berkeley, New South Wales, AU | ------------------------------------------------------------------ linux user:267497 * RH 8.0 * PC/Mac/Linux/Networking/Consulting ------------------------------------------------------------------ Oh, Lisa, you and your stories. `Bart is a vampire.' `Beer kills brain cells.'
