OK, if you say so Frank. ;-) > > I mean most places don't kill you for being a murderer, or a pedophile or > rapist etc,,, so being a greedy dumbass shouldn't involve a death > sentence.. Sorry; but I have to disagree. Arrogant stupidity should always be a "Capital Crime;" sentence imposed and enforced by the universe. No appeals. The best the malefactors can hope for is a suspended sentence. Maybe the worst part of the so called criminal justice system in most "enlightened" nations is there is so much justice for the poor innocent criminal at the expense of the rest of the society. Seems a little bass ackwards to me. > > I report all the scam emails I get to the online repositories for such > things... and then i reply them with dummy smtp details and tell them to > f**k off and that they have been reported to their ISP /authorities etc... As in the "Trojan" thread that would be nice if the ISPs were capable of doing anything about it. Or if they actually cared. > > since the return email and everything else is dummy, I don't get bothered > by replys, especially since not many of these wankers have the knowhow to > track me anyway... > > but you are right, if they are so greedy, losing all their money is almost > suitable recompense.. Almost. I can think of more effective (harsher) treatments but I'd definitely be in the minority. <\tongue (somewhat) in cheek> > rgds > > Franki <snip> Regards; -- Charlie Edmonton,AB,Canada Registered user 244963 http://counter.li.org "The question is rather: if we ever succeed in making a mind 'of nuts and bolts', how will we know we have succeeded? -- Fergal Toomey "It will tell us." -- Barry Kort
