If you are running KDE then www.kde-look.org is the place for themes/wallpaper You will also find mandrake RPMS for several nice icon sets/themes/wallpapers at Texstars download site ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/linux/distributions/mandrake/9.0/rpms In particular look out for crystal-icons -really nice icon set from Connectiva - will be default for KDE3.1 freecurve-artwork - The BlueCurve theme RedHat fans like. Geramik - A really popular theme kde3-kspashml - Animated log on spash keramik - I think that is geramik for KDE mosfets-liquid - my favourite KDE theme wallpaper - A collection of nice wallpapers xmas-wallpaper - A bit out of season Themes, icon sets, and wallpapers are all selected in KDE Control Centre Some themes like mosfet have to be configured in several different places. As for screensavers. The default KDE screensavers are not especially good. But if you do not use kde, or take the trouble to disable the KDE screensaver you can use xscreensaver and xscreensaver-gl which are RPMs on your Mandrake CDs xscreensaver-demo in a terminal will show you the screensavers available, and the command xscreensaver -nosplash & when you start your session will enable the screensavers. There are also some really nice new OpenGL screensavers for xscreensaver available here http://www.mandrakeforum.com/article.php?sid=2540&lang=en (I think the link is broken on that one) HTH derek -- ---------------------------------- www.jennings.homelinux.net
